Your items can experience small movements and cracks as it adjusts - this is not a fault, but a natural occurrence within the fibres of the natural product. Take care of your wood by not allowing it to be in contact with a direct heat source (radiators/heater/fires) and not to submerge in water or keep in a damp place. Take care of your wood by replenishing it with teak oil periodically.
